My Philosophy PDF Print E-mail
  1. No Rock Star attitudes. I'm not interested in being in anybody's backup band.
  2. Every band member deserves the chance to showcase their individual talents. Fan's should leave a show thinking, the drummer was great, the singer was great, the guitarist...bassist...keyboardist...The entire band should make a lasting impression.
  3. Band rehearsals are for 'smoothing out rough spots' NOT for learning individual parts or just 'dicking around.' Nothing pisses me off more than taking the time to learn MY part(s) before rehearsal only to end up sitting around at practice while someone else learns THEIR part(s).
  4. A band needs to play to the women in the audience if they ever want to build a large following.
  5. Women come to see a band (mostly) to dance and have fun, men come to see a band (mostly) to hit on women in the crowd.
  6. A band needs to be different. Why go to see another band that plays the same set list as the last 10 bands you saw?
  7. They've written a few songs since the 1970s! Why do so many musicians stop learning new songs when they graduate from High School?
